I love houses. The more crafty the house, the more often I'm going to want to wander by and stare at it. I am in hog heaven here in SF, especially after living in LA where home architecture gets pretty bland. So I've been sketching my neighborhood and all the little Victorian details that I drool over. The result is my own creation above, which satisfied the kid in me that likes drawing geometry and daisies.

How charming this is!! I love the colors, in addition to the geometry and daisies :-)
Such a delightful building. It has an Art Deco feel to it. OOoh, I can imagine walking up those steps and opening the door and feeling a warm and friendly space to wander around in and explore and drink tea in.
It reminds me of a house we saw in Akaroa in NZ when we visited there in 2007.

If you could build this house for me in Christchurch or Akaroa .... well that would be SO cool!!!!
Nicely done. nice detail.
Welcome back. Your SF Victorian is really wonderful - can't wait to see more.
I'm obsessed with houses too. All kinds, colonial, victorian, craftsmen, modern, anything except McMansions.
I love the whimsy. Makes me think of the Linnea calendars.
oooOOOoooh i like! lets move in
Wonderful...was it really that color, or was that creative license? Either way it's a knock out... just wonderful.
